GET YOUR BRAND ON
Alright, alright, alright!
Congrats! You have finished the application to work with A Strong Design on a new kick-ass brand.
Somethings just work better together.
Please be advised, cheesy movie quotes, gifs, four letter words, and ridiculous facial expressions will be used in abundance. It is a programming quirk that has never been fixed without dire meltdowns to the designer.
Get ready…it’s gonna be awwwwww-soooome!
If you’re having that “What now?” thought, and you’re totally confidence that we’ll be like peanut butter and jelly, here’s a list of some things you can do to get a jump start:
1. Signup for and download Zoom. It’s my go-to video chat because it’s got lots of goodies and I can record us without a lot of hoops and issues. Plus it’s free.
2. Start a Pinterest board. Really. Even if you have one, or will never sign in again, set up a new PRIVATE board and scour the internet. Pin anything that draws your eye…websites, business cards, graphics, fonts, fine art, illustrations, giphs. Don’t question WHY you like it, just add it. 30 is a good average…50 is better. Adding the PinIt button to your browser helps a lot.
You’ll want logins and passwords for: social media sites, domain and hosting accounts, business emails, newsletter providers, SEO systems, Google Webmaster Tools, etc. Pretty much anything that pertains to your business. You’ll have to collect it all anyway to make sure I can give you a complete brand guide when it’s all said and done, and having it sooner than later means when we’re ready to dive in when it’s all in front of us. Don’t worry, I have the memory of a 90 year old with possible brain damage, so unless your passwords are something like: cooldude123 (in which case the first order of business will be to help you make nearly un-hackable passwords) I will never remember it anyway.
